TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We, trading as flooring2floors.co.uk (Unit 20 North Orbital Commercial Park, Napsbury Lane, St Albans, AL1 1XB) are entering an agreement with you when buying goods from us. The agreement will be concluded when you place the order. All interested visitors must read our terms and conditions before buying online or over the phone.
It is important to know that after placing an order, in the case of deliveries to certain destinations such as Scotland, Northern Ireland or the Channel Islands, carriers charge an extra delivery fee. Should this be the case, the customer will be informed as soon as possible after the order has been placed. In the case that the customer refuses to pay this extra charge, the order can be canceled.
By law the drivers are only insured to deliver kerbside and will not take the flooring inside the property.
Cancellations / Returns Policy:
There is a 7 days term to return the goods to us. Please note that before returning them you must request a returns number from us to write on your boxes. Only based on that returns number we will be able to make refunds. Customers need to arrange for the goods to be sent back at their own expense and need to make sure the goods will not arrive damaged. We request that the goods be returned back to us within 7 days.
We strongly recommend customers to get enough information on a product before buying it. In case visitors do not fully understand our website, terms and conditions, prices or pictures then enquirers can be sent via our contact us web page.
Damaged Goods:
If goods arrive damaged then they must be signed for as damaged on the courier paper. The delivery must be checked against any damages pack by pack and the number of packs on the order must also be counted and missing packs are to be noted on the courier paper. We advise customers to report (usually within 24 hours) deliveries which have been signed for as damaged or where missing packs have been noted using our contact us web page or by calling our main line and selecting option 1 and we will replace these as soon as possible.
Customers should not book any fitting service before having the goods delivered. We cannot guarantee deliveries because of stock levels and situations when the courier is not able to deliver.
Customized products like vinyl flooring or carpets being cut from a roll to fit your specific room sizes are not returnable within 7 days under The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
The large pictures (the room set) on the product pages are used for illustration purposes only and customers must only consider the scans of the samples before buying. Also customers are advised to request a sample in the post or visit a showroom to see the product because computers monitor colours can vary dramatically and so the online scan of the sample may look different to the flooring received.
Privacy Policy:
All the information we will collect about you will be used according to the Data Protection Act and other legislation. Your personal information like names, email, telephone numbers, address will only be used to process your order and make deliveries. We will never pass your information to a third party. Credit/Debit card numbers and other information will not be stored on our servers. This information will be encrypted and sent to the bank for authorization.
