| Installation instructions for Tarkett laminate floors |

Precautions |
|
|
Make sure that in case of new concrete floors, the sub floor is completely dry.
The surface must be level and cleaned. Make sure that irregularities of more than 3 mm / metre are smoothed out prior to installation.
Underfloor heating systems
In the case of water based underfloor heating systems, the maximum surface temperature allowed is of 28°C/82.4°F and the heating elements MUST be embedded into concrete or any other subfloor.
NOTE: Laminate floors are NOT compatible with electrical underfloor heating system.
Laminate flooring can only be installed in floating method and the joints should be staggered at least 300 mm.
Make sure always to leave an 8-10 mm expansion gap to the wall and other obstacles (pipes, door frames, etc).

Installation |

The planks should be placed lengthwise in the direction the light enters the room.

Lay the first plank in a corner of a room making sure that the tongue sides face the wall and that an 8-10 mm expansion gap has been left.
