Installation instructions for Linesse Quick Step floors

  1. When installing laminate floors in large rooms make sure to place expansion joints every 13 m width-wise and every 13m length-wise. Also, it is preferable that you provide expansion joints between different rooms. They can be finished using moldings attached to the subfloors.
  2. Never allow the end joints of to successive rows to be in line by staggering them by at least 10 cm.
  3. We recommend you purchase a few extra cartons of flooring, which will come useful in case of damaged planks, miscalculation of the room and further repairs.

Renovation:
  • Remove any type of flooring (carpet, needle felt, etc)

Install the Quick Step underlayment per width and as you progress. Before cutting it to size, let it run up the wall a bit.

As the first floor strip is affixed to the floor panel, the two other strips must be clicked into it. Slide the strip and cut the panel. See fig. 2-6
