APPLYING THE ADHESIVE |
|
|
Check the details provided by the adhesive manufacturer to ensure that you are using the right product for the site conditions. Ideally, it is recommended that the adhesive be applied progressively leaving working areas.
Once the adhesive has been laid you can start placing the tiles.
NOTE: Depending on the design of the tiles you may need to shuffle them after getting them out of the box to ensure an even pattern along the floor.

INSTALLING THE TILES |

Start by placing the first tile at the conjunction of the two lines. Press down on the tile and run your thumb along the edges to ensure that the air is expelled. Continue placing the tiles down center line A-B always laying one tile on either side, one towards A and one towards B.
After completing laying the tiles along line A-B, start placing the tiles along line C-D in the same manner paying special attention to the position of the tiles so that they are placed at the same distance from one another.
After having installed the tiles along lines A-B, start completing the sections. Using an articulated floor roller of 68 kg, roll the laid sections. Repeat this action for each section.
After having covered the entire floor, the remaining spaces should be covered using cut to size tiles. Take a tile making sure that the design and the colour are the correct ones, place it to the wall above the final tile in the row and mark the remaining distance on the tile and then cut it to size.
For all cut to size tiles you will need to spread the adhesive evenly and then put it in place and press.
NOTE: Make sure to wipe out excess adhesive as you proceed.
After each section has been covered roll the floor using a 68 kg articulated roller.
Repeat the actions described above for all sections of the floor and after having covered the entire perimeter, roll the entire floor using the articulated roller.

INSTALLING IN LARGE AREAS |

As it is sometimes difficult to maintain straight lines over a large area, for this type of rooms, another installation method is recommended.
After establishing the center line in the same manner as described above, start laying the tiles in a pyramid away from the centre line, following the sequence described below.
