arrow Step 1 - First row
Saw off the tongue of the first plank and place it in the corner of the room so that the sawn off edge and the short end side face the wall leaving an expansion gap of 8 to 10 mm. Complete the row by pushing the short ends of the planks together until they interlock. See fig. 1
fig. 1
NOTE: After completing a row you can use the left over piece from the last cut to size plank to start the new row given that it is 20 cm or longer.
arrow Step 2 - Second row
Connect the first plank of the second row to the first one using the long edge.
  • Place the plank on the floor in front of the first row
  • Reach the point of engagement (15 - 20°) by slightly tilting the plank upwards
  • Lower the plank making sure that it engages and can be press-fitted. See fig. 2 and 3
fig. 2   fig. 3
NOTE: Make sure that the planks are always in perfect alignment and that the joints are staggered by at least 40 cm.

Connect the following plank of the second row in the same way making sure that when the plank is lowered it is also close to the short end side of the previous plank. See fig. 4
