Inspect the packs and remove faulty planks, if any.

Note that in order to correctly install these laminate floors you must not nail or glue the planks to the base floor and that they are not compatible with spaces with high humidity levels such as bathrooms.

Install a damp proof membrane and underlay.

Check the technical information available for the flooring you have purchased to find out whether these products are compatible with underfloor heating and contact a professional for more information on how to install laminates in rooms with underfloor heating systems.

For best visual results, the direction of the floor should coincide with that of the natural light entering your rooms.
