This type of floor is suitable for loose or glued installation over a surface of up to 15 square metres.

PREPARING THE FLOOR |
|

Remove any existing flooring and make sure that the base floor is level and thoroughly cleaned prior to installation.
Use primer should the surface have any irregularities.
Place the flooring inside the room where it is to be laid 2 hours in advance at a temperature of minimum 18 degrees Celsius to make the sheet more flexible during installation.
Position the material with the excess margins overlapping the wall baring in mind that it is advisable that the design in parallel to the main wall of the room.
Releasing tension from the material is very easy to achieve as you simply need to make relief cuts inside and outside corners and doorways.
After brushing the surface to make sure that no air is trapped underneath, check to see whether the sheet is flat on the floor and, should the case be, make relief cuts to remove bulges.
Using a small block of wood, firmly press the sheet against the base of the skirting, secure it in place and then cut the excess off using a sharp knife moving gradually to ensure that you are cutting the sheet accurately.

a. LOOSE LAY |

Using a special adhesive, you only need to adhere the flooring sheet at doorways, seams or under heavy furniture or other movable objects.

b. PERMANENT INSTALLATION |
|
|
This type of installation must be used for surfaces of more than 15 square metres.
Note: Prior to cutting the vinyl sheets make sure that the pattern is fluent from one sheet to the next for optimal visual effects. Different sheet widths cannot be batch matched.
There are two possibilities in the case of sheets of different widths: either purchase more flooring, place them in the room, move the sheet until the design is continuous and then cut the excess off or place the flooring sheets at 180 degrees lengthwise one from the other so that they form a colour continuation.

To ensure watertight sealing, welding is recommended along the seams.

CLEANING |
|
|
After carefully sweeping the floors, warm water is to be mixed with netural liquid cleaner and then carefully rinsed to remove the cleaning agent.
