Leaving an allowance space of 15 mm for any expansions, draw a straight line along the wall and place the first row with the groove side towards it.
The second and subsequent rows will be started using the cut off piece from the previous row in order to ensure that the joints are staggered by at least 150 mm.
Use special tapping blocks to fit the planks into place and cover the expansion gaps with skirtings and profiles.

Underfloor heating |

Engineered floor coverings are compatible with underfloor heating systems.
Prior to installation make sure that the heating installation has been working for a minimum of three weeks. Inspect the pipes to ensure that there are no leaks.
Only use underlay that is compatible with this type of heating system.
Make sure that the temperature does not exceed 27°C at any point.
48 hours before installing the engineered floors turn off the heating and for a period of 2-3 days turn up the heating, 3-4°C at a time until reaching the desired temperature.
Ensure a minimum temperature of 18°C at all times.

Using special adhesive, apply it in 150 mm strips to the head of the board.
Staggering each 150 - 200 mm by 80 mm when applying the adhesive along the length of the board to allow the excess glue to fill up the space and not be squeezed to the surface.
Use a damp cloth to wipe off the excess glue.
