With two different installation methods to choose from, the Beauflor vinyl flooring can be setup using a loose lay system or through a full spread method. Beaufloor floors are not recommended to be fixed by the perimeter adhesion method.

Handling |
Beaufloor vinyl floors should be transported and stored on a core onto a flat surface.
Do not place the material over surfaces that may cause indentations.
Do not apply excessive pressure on the material using twine or tape.
Acclimatisation |
Prior to installation, store the vinyl roll/rolls in the designated room or a similar room, at a maximum temperature of 65°F (18.3°C) for up to 12 hours.

Preparation |
Make sure to properly prepare the following compatible substrates prior to installation:
Concrete (suspended, on or below grade levels)
Approved suspended wood underlayments
Existing resilient that is well bonded (no more than two layers)
Ceramic tile or marble flooring
Polymeric poured (seamless) floors
Underfloor heating systems that will exceed a maximum floor temperature of 85°F.
Surfaces should be free of dust and debris, secured, dry, smooth and free from wax, oils or other materials. Also, remove any adhesive residues and imperfections exceeding 1/64" and secure any looseness of the surface.

Method A: Loose Lay Installation |
Lay the Beauflor sheet over the entire area and remove the excess material along the walls leaving the vinyl sheet to overlap the walls at least 1-1/2". Make relief cuts at corners and projections to allow the material to lay flat before making the final cuts.
To join several sheets of vinyl, align the patterns and cut in using sharp knife or trimmer. Leave a slight gap of approximately a 1/8" to ensure a proper movement of the floor due to atmospheric changes.
Cover all transition areas with an edge protecting molding.
