The subfloor |

Note: Irrespective of the type of subfloor you choose it is important to install a dampscreen first.
Dampscreen installation:
- lay it in long stretches over the entire area of the floor, making sure that it goes up the wall approximately 5 cm
- if you choose to apply the foil in different stretches, make sure that they overlap at least 20 cm before taping them together.

Installation of the laminate floors |

- after smoothing out any irregularities and cleaning the floor install the dampscreen and the subfloor
- thanks to the rolling technique of the Click xpress® there will be no tension between the planks and the tongue and groove prevent any play

For optimal results install the laminate floors in the same direction the light enters you space.
Make sure the laminated floor coverings are always installed crosswise over the existing sub floor

Preparation |
|
|
Before beginning the installation process allow the laminate floor coverings to acclimate leaving them unpacked, in the middle of the room where you want to install them for a period of 48 hours.
Make sure you provide an expansion space of 8 up to 10 mm from the wall and other obstacles such as pipes, door frames and thresholds to account for fluctuating humidity levels that cause laminate flooring to expand or contract.

NOTE: In larger rooms use an extension profile every ten meters, length and width wise.
